Set in the early 1980s, Halt and Catch Fire recounts the boom of the computer age, about a year after IBM virtually dominated the market with the launch of its first major product, IMB PC. This drama depicts the computer race, with a former IBM CEO asking for the help of a great engineer, a miracle child, both of whom endanger their future by joining the Secret PC project.
